Ramblings, rants, and information on media-related issues about anything from print newspapers, to the blogosphere, to first amendment rights and beyond.
My name is Andrew, and I am currently a student at Florida Community College at Jacksonville. I have received my A.A. degree, and now I am just finishing up a few pre-reqs before transferring to UF's College for Journalism and Communications.
My dream job is to be an inner-city community reporter for the St. Petersburg Times.
* I write for The Campus Voice, FCCJ's newspaper. I work as the Sports Editor, a staff writer, and a member of the editorial board.
* I work with YouthQuake Live, a Christian youth ministry that holds monthly live shows with skits, music, dances, and a speaker all focused on a specific theme.
* I have played hockey since I was 6
* I have created a pro-life charter club for FCCJ
* I am actively involved in 4-H, a youth development program.
* I am a paleo-conservative libertarian. That means I believe government only has the responsibility of preserving justice and liberty, they do not have the right to enforce what they think is or isn't moral. They must only 1. make people do all that they have agreed to do (contract law). and 2. prohibit people from encroaching on other persons or their property. nothing else
